Dr. Julie Levering, DC, CCSP, CAC, DABCA
Dr. Julie Levering is a licensed chiropractic physician in the state of Illinois, Colorado and New Mexico. She earned her doctorate at the National College of Chiropractic. Dr Julie is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and maintains her certification through the Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness. With over 300 hours in Functional Chiropractic Rehabilitation, Dr. Levering recommends functional rehabilitation exercises to aid her patients in gaining back their loss of function. Her treatment philosophy is “active care for active people”. She has also earned a Diplomate in Chiropractic Acupuncture from the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture.
From her love of animals, Dr. Levering became certified in Animal Chiropractic from Options for Animals. She maintains her certification through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). Dr. Levering is a licensed animal chiropractor in Colorado.
Dr. Levering uses her skills in chiropractic for every member of the family including your animal companion. She believes in the body’s healing power, using both chiropractic and acupuncture. She believes that when a person is in optimal physical, emotional and mental balance, the body’s systems function properly. The disease state results from a decline of energy due to poor diet, stresses of everyday living, emotional problems and environmental factors. Acupuncture and other techniques are used to correct the imbalances in the body, increase energy and optimize function.
Dr. Levering has been treating patients in the Chicago land area for over 23 years. She attributes her success in relieving patients of pain quickly to Chiropractic and Acupuncture.
Dr. Levering received her B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education from Trenton State College. She enlisted in the Air Force to learn navigational electronics on C141, a transport aircraft stationed out of McGuire AFB. Soon after completing the electronics school, she changed fields to become a flight engineer and completed her degree in Flight Engineering.
